Aliso Viejo, Calif. and Burlington, Mass. – March 5, 2007 – Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) and mValent, Inc. today announced a joint development and marketing agreement to provide automated application configuration and release management solutions to organizations looking to reduce costs, increase availability, ensure compliance with IT audit requirements and promote IT management best practices. As part of the joint go-to-market relationship, mValent will resell Quest Foglight® Release Manager, and Quest will refer potential sales leads to mValent for mValent Integrity™. In addition, Quest and mValent have joined forces to integrate Quest Foglight Release Manager and mValent Integrity to deliver the industry’s first integrated configuration, change and release management solution for mission-critical distributed applications.
