mValent Integrity v5 also adds advanced analytical capabilities to its best-in-class “Compare” tool that pinpoints configuration inconsistencies that frequently cause application downtime or outages. Additionally, the new release delivers automated change dashboard reports to senior IT managers so that they can track ‘drift’ from configuration standards, allowing them to head off compliance problems before they arise.

Key features of mValent Integrity v5 include:

• Simultaneous Provisioning of Multiple Global Hosts—Using a single source as a configuration ‘gold master’, mValent Integrity v5 can provision application configuration settings to a virtually unlimited number of target host systems. This can be done for any single element in the application infrastructure (including application servers, Web servers, databases, middleware and operating systems) or across the entire software stack. Additionally, mValent Integrity can provision configuration setting changes at a fine-grained, ‘surgical’ level when only specific anomalies need to be corrected across globally distributed environments.

• Automated ‘Compare’ Capability for Advanced Change Detection—Detailed change detection and analysis can be set to execute either on pre-determined schedules or on an ad-hoc basis using mValent Integrity’s advanced ‘Compare’ capability. This automated feature can track configuration differences across time between similar assets or whole environments (answering the question, "What changed since yesterday?"). Advanced ‘Compare’ enables pinpointing of ‘bad’ differences by intelligently suppressing ‘good’ differences.

• Advanced Change Reporting for Compliance Applications— All reports from the mValent Integrity v5 Infrastructure Change Dashboard can be generated automatically and distributed via e-mail to selected IT managers in multiple formats.

• New Java API—mValent Integrity is a core part of customers' multi-vendor service management software suite and thus customers often require integration of its configuration and change information with other tools such as ticketing systems or configuration management databases (CMDBs). This new Java API is added to the existing set of mValent APIs to offer customers a broad set of integration capabilities.
